About the event
Shtetl Zingeray
As the gloom of November settles in, we gather again at Saligari to bring some warmth to our hearts with Yiddish song. Led by Sasha Lurje, we'll spend the afternoon singing together, revisiting old favorites and filling the room with light while the days grow darker.
Titles with lyrics are projected so that everybody can follow along together. You don't need to know many songs, just come and join us in the joy of singing.
Sasha is bringing some new songs as well, for those who want to deepen their knowledge and help grow our ever-expanding song book. Come as you are, bring your voice, and be part of our community.
This event is supported by the Aktionsfonds gegen Antisemitismus of the Berliner Senat.
