About the event
Neukölln Klezmer Session #129
September 9, 18:30 – Tune Learning with Ilya Saitanov and Craig Judelman 19:00 – Open Jam
The Neukölln klezmer sessions are back at our beloved Bar Oblomov! We kick off on September 9th with a tune learning session at 18:30, led by visiting flute master Ilya Saitanov & our own Craig Judelman, followed by an open jam. Whether you're a regular or stepping into a klezmer session for the first time, come join us for friendly community, tunes, and klezmer fun.
To learn more from Mr. Saitanov while he’s in town, don’t miss his workshop on September 13, 13:00–16:00: From the Borderlands: Polish Nigunim & Folk Music.
