About the event
Join Shtetl Berlin for our Third Seder — a communal evening in the spirit of the secular Yiddish tradition. The dritter seder has its roots in the Jewish Labor Bund of Eastern Europe, where secular Jewish workers reclaimed Passover for themselves — replacing religious ritual with songs, readings, and reflection on earthly liberation and solidarity. We carry that spirit forward. We gather not for prayer, but for song, story, and community. The evening weaves together the tradition of the dritter seder with a zingeray — a collective sing-along rooted in Yiddish song. At Saligari bar, you're welcome to drink your four cups of wine — or more. No experience necessary. Just bring your voice.
